What We Do

We recognize that each project brings with it a unique set of questions that we attempt to answer by applying our experience and understanding of design. We choreograph design elements such as light, color, texture and acoustics along with principals of scale and proportion, merging them with the needs of the project. We explore how the compilation of these elements mesh into the natural environment, continuously adjusting until a harmony is established.

Inspiration in our architecture is found through the study of other art forms, be it photography, sculpture, painting or nature. We encourage our clients to explore how other works of art influence their own perception of what makes good design.

We view architecture as a collection of values between our staff and our clients, the aesthetic of the building, and how the building relates to the environment. It is through the weaving of these values that allows us to create a design solution that exceeds any expectation.

Who We Are

SEAUX+PIERCE Architecture, established in 1999, has maintained as its underlying principle, the obligation to create an architecture that expresses an acute awareness to human values and needs while providing sound initial design and long term investments for our clients. Chad P. Pierce and Jeanne A. Seaux, husband and wife and principles of their award winning firm hail originally from Louisiana where they both attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette before interning with different firms. Upon moving to Austin in 1999, they began SEAUX+PIERCE Architecture.

What is BIM?

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is the process of generating and managing building data during its life cycle. Typically it uses three-dimensional, real-time, dynamic building modeling software to increase productivity in building design and construction.
The process produces the Building Information Model (also abbreviated BIM), which encompasses building geometry, spatial relationships, geographic information, and quantities and properties of building components.
